First Year Teacher Grant



Please list your A+PEL involvement and dates of involvement below. Include any leadership roles you have assumed (officer, building representative, committees, etc) along with dates of service.
Write a brief summary describing your plans for using the grant. The summary should not exceed two, double-spaced pages and must include a general description of the materials or equipment you wish to purchase and a justification for how they support student learning and/or development (e.g., will they enable you to address specific state or local standards; do they support new or developing research on teaching and learning). Please uplaod as an MS Word document.
Attach an itemized list of materials or equipment to be purchased complete with material/equipment name, description, and costs, as well as the total shipping and handling charges.

Please reivew the Grant Guidelines Document and check the box to acknowledge that you understand and agree to the conditions and requirements specified in the guidelines.


Recipient should be willing to share the results or impact of the grant on his/her students and/or teaching through writing a brief article for A+PEL to potentially use in a newsletter, on the website, or for a conference display.
