Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana provides full legal services and professional assistance to its members. The Director of Professional and Legal Services and the A+PEL staff review matters of concern to members, make recommendations, and if necessary, assign attorneys to individual cases. If members prefer to use an attorney of their own choosing, A+PEL will endorse that choice. Attorney fees are paid by A+PEL in keeping with existing insurance provisions.
