Professional Development
The Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana (A+PEL) offers numerous opportunities for educators as they improve their professional skills. In an effort to assist both new and veteran teachers, as well as university education students, we strive to keep abreast of professional development requirements according to state and federal guidelines and through research and recommendations made by successful educators.
Every year, A+PEL sponsors special events and forms partnerships with other educational institutions that benefit professional educators and awards classroom teachers and teacher candidates several types of scholarships, grants, and stipends.
